Wedding at Water’s Edge | Bayville, New Jersey Photographer | Heather & Ken Married

June 4, 2018

I love weddings on the water, and this one at Water’s Edge in Bayville was ridiculously gorgeous. Not only were Heather and Ken the sweetest, but Heather’s classic good taste reflected in all the details of the day! Also – they had some beautiful nautical decor. And if you know me, you know that I love me some nautical accents.
I had not been in the new bridal suite at Water’s Edge before this, and I have to say – they outdid themselves! Honestly it’s more of a ‘bridal cottage’ and it is gorgeous! As soon as I got there, I dug into photographing Heather’s details, and I loved her succulent bouquet and light blue accent color. She had even made the ring box, and centerpieces. Such a crafty bride!
We were so fortunate to get a beautiful April day for this wedding! I had been a bit concerned that we were going to get some showers, but we were able to have a perfect outdoor ceremony without a hitch. Ken’s reaction to seeing his girl for the first time basically left us all in tears. It was obvious all day how much Ken adores Heather, and they are truly a perfect match. Also, they have the most amazingly supportive friends and family. I have never seen a bridal party, where every single person wanted to say something during toasts. You always hear quotes and sayings about friends turning into family, but it was very obvious that Heather and Ken’s friends truly are their family as well.
Thank you Heather and Ken, for being truly amazing people, for making my job so easy, and for reaffirming that this ‘job’ of mine is really the biggest blessing that I could possibly ask for. I cried more times behind my camera during your wedding than I am going to admit here. Thank you for making Ray and I feel like family!
